The Position

The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) is an independent national nonprofit working to solve some of our planet’s most pressing environmental and safety problems. The Union of Concerned Scientists is looking for an internship in media relations. This opportunity will provide participants with media experience working on exciting communication strategies at a leading national advocacy organization. The Media Intern will work with UCS scientists, analysts, and advocacy staff on strategies to promote and amplify the organization’s research and priorities in local and national outlets: print, television, radio, and online media.
